Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ipchecker.net. By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated: 6 September 2026

What the site provides

ipchecker.net publishes reference information about IP addresses, network ports, DNS and related topics, and offers free browser-based and server-based tools. The service is provided free of charge and without an account.

Accuracy

We check the information we publish against primary sources and correct errors when we find them or when they are reported. Even so, router defaults, DNS servers and network practices change, and we cannot guarantee that every entry is current or applies to your specific device or provider. Use the information as a starting point and confirm against your own equipment and documentation before relying on it.

Acceptable use

You may use the site and its tools for lawful purposes, including troubleshooting your own network, learning, and administering systems you are authorised to manage. You may not use the tools to scan, probe, or attempt to access networks or devices you do not own or have permission to test, to send abusive volumes of requests, or to attempt to disrupt the service. Router default credentials are published so that owners can access their own equipment; using them to access a device you do not own is unlawful.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site and its tools are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including loss of data, downtime or configuration changes you make based on information found here.

Intellectual property

The text, design and code of this site are owned by ipchecker.net unless otherwise stated. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not republish whole pages or tables, or scrape the site to build a competing dataset, without written permission. Trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Third-party links and services

Pages link to router admin addresses on your local network and to external services such as flag imagery and DNS providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or availability.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
